GELAB has received a major greentech order. The first phase of this multi-year contract is valued at SEK 70 million and provides continued stable growth for GELAB.
For several years, GELAB has proven to be a knowledgeable and reliable partner. Now that we go into high volume production, it’s great that GELAB proved to be internationally competitive. Crucial is the modern and efficient production combined with global sourcing expertise of materials that completely outperform our needs and expectations, said Stefan Larsson Mastonstråle, CEO of Inresol.
GELAB is a leading Scandinavian high-tech contract manufacturer of electronic products, complete systems, box-build, circuit boards and cabling for the Nordic energy, vehicles, telecom, medical technology and security solution sectors.
We are delighted to have been awarded this important contract. It is confirmation that we are competitive and ready for more business. In increasingly tougher international competition, it is extra gratifying to secure a large industrial project to GELAB and Sweden. It feels great to be a partner of Inresol in their exciting and revolutionary project, said Fredrik Dyfverman, CEO of GELAB.
Inresol has developed a suite of portable micro-sized biomass heat and power generators based on the Sterling engine. These are intended for use in environments and applications that do not have access to the power grid or heat generation, such as households on islands or in remote rural areas and telecommunication masts but also for use as a reserve system in urban environments in the event of power outages.
According to Inresol, the development work has been followed by “great interest” and the global launch has begun with a significant start order backlog that is now being manufactured and delivered.
